Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply for GST registration myself?
Yes. You can apply directly on gst.gov.in. However, the portal is complex and errors in filing can lead to rejection or queries, delaying your GSTIN by weeks. EasyVyapar handles the entire process for ₹499, guaranteeing error-free submission.
What is the composition scheme?
The Composition Scheme allows small taxpayers (turnover up to ₹1.5 crore for goods, ₹50 lakhs for services) to pay GST at a flat rate (1–6%) instead of filing detailed returns. However, composition taxpayers cannot claim ITC or issue tax invoices.
How long is a GST registration certificate valid?
A regular GST registration certificate has no expiry date. It remains valid until cancelled or surrendered. Casual taxable person registrations expire after 90 days.
